Lane Gainer started in 1983 when president Craig Askins designed and patented a swimming "treadmill" called the Exer-Swim™. Over the years the company has expanded into many sports. We focus on the newest training methods introducing products (tools) that help coaches and athletes utilize these techniques.

Innovation drives our business and simplicity guides it. We find new ways to make standard equipment so it's better and more affordable, like our Hydro Sled™. We also design new equipment to compliment the latest training break-throughs; the new Training Sweeps™ line is good example.
